Physical and environmental conditions in the City of Pleasant Hill, including some information in the vicinity of the Oak Park Property, are available in the Environmental Impact Report for the 2003 City General Plan Update. Information includes geologic, soils, hydrology, traffic, air quality, and public services.
The condition of the former school buildings on the site have been evaluated for demolition purposes. Demolition permits would be issued by the City of Pleasant Hill. The Demolition Reports were completed in December 2006.
A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Report was completed by Jonas & Associate, Inc. for the County in November, 2000. The report concluded that "no adverse environmental impact associated with hazardous materials has been identified at the subject site." The reader is encouraged to review the entire Phase I Report, along with the limitations and assumptions associated with the scope of work.
